The sulfuric acid that I propose to make involves the use of cheap household items, and has initially a very low concentration of about 1.6%. It is then concentrated to 98% by boiling the water off. The products needed are:

  • Root Kill from the ZEP brand ($15 for 2 lbs at Home Depot)
  • Plumbing scraps (lead and copper, virtually free)
